Sorry it's been a while since I last updated this blog. The sad passing of my dear old Mum in July plus a complete change in employment has meant that I haven't had as much time as I would have liked to update. Now Fieldsway Scenics is up and running and getting busier I have a lot more time to devote to the Cold War Commanders and wargaming in general.
I have been busy working on the terrain for our big game in Grimsby on 12th-14th October and work continues in between commission work and some of the other chaps have been working hard on some terrain pieces especially for this game. As always the weekend is a massive joint effort and this year will see our biggest attendance yet with 18 fellow wargamers joining us for the event.
So over the next few days I will start posting some of the preparation work for Grimsby as well as some information on some future projects that I hope the Cold War Commanders will get involved with. Oh yes and there's the small matter of the D-Day game to start work on!
As always thanks for reading :-)
Hi Richard,I hope things are calming down and getting better on the 'real life' front.i am very much looking forward to Grimsby, thanks again for all your work in putting this together.
ReplyDeleteThanks Neil, yes pretty much back to normal except the obvious career change :-) Very much looking forward to Grimsby this year, probably more than ever after this year. See you in a couple of weeks.
